Airborne noise travels as pressure waves. The heavier and limper a barrier is, the harder those waves work to move it - and the more sound energy is lost. This is the mass law of acoustics, and mass loaded vinyl is the most practical way to apply it.
AcoustiLayer® packs mineral fillers into a flexible vinyl sheet to reach 2000 kg/m³ while staying thin and bendable. You get barrier-grade mass in 2-5 mm, conforming to studs, panels, ducts and vehicle floors without the bulk or rigidity of dense board.
